专利说明:
[0001] The present invention relates to a front-end module of a motor vehicle, and more specifically to a front-end module of an automobile vehicle composed of several distinct parts. A front-end module is a structural element capable of integrating various vehicle equipment such as headlamps, turn signals, buzzer, heat exchanger, cooling module, hood lock and the like. The front panel module, equipped with its equipment, is a unit module prepared and delivered by the equipment manufacturer to the car manufacturer to be mounted on the vehicle. The mounting of the front-end module on the vehicle is done by connection to the elements of the vehicle chassis, such as longitudinal members, wings or hulls, then installation of a bumper or front shield attached to the module. A front-end module generally comprises a support piece for one or more radiators or cooling modules, for the front headlamps and a bumper beam which participates in protecting the equipment of the module in the event of a frontal impact. These components are fixed rigidly to each other in order to maintain the geometry and cohesion of the assembly. In order to better meet the maintenance requirements of radiators or cooling modules, it is known to have a support piece made of several distinct parts. For example, it is known to have a support part comprising a first part comprising the upper cross member, fixed between or at the top of the lateral uprights, and a second part comprising a bottom rail with side uprights. The possibility of separating the upper cross member of the lateral uprights makes it possible to proceed with the maintenance of the radiators of the vehicle without having to resort to dismantling the cooling modules. [0002] It is also known to make the different parts of the support part out of different materials. For example, a first part may be made of reinforced material, such as a hybrid material and a second part may be made of plastic material. The hybrid material technology combining metal and plastic material reinforces the mechanical strength of the plastic. In general, it is the largest part that is made of plastic material, so as to lighten the structure of the module as much as possible. In general, this bulky part is the second part which comprises the lower crossbar with the lateral uprights and side projections, the first part comprising the upper crosspiece of hybrid material. This particular design combining different materials, allows both to meet the constraints of lightness and low cost thanks to the plastic elements and also to the constraints of mechanical resistance in case of shock, thanks to the elements in hybrid material. Indeed, a front module completely made of plastic material does not meet the safety requirements of the crash test ("crash test"). However, in the case of support part comprising several parts of different materials, it is necessary to fix the parts to each other by fixing means. The crash test resistance provided by this type of design may be insufficient. During an impact, the different parts can undergo mechanical stresses that can cause the breakage of the fasteners between the first part and the second part, causing the opening of the hood of the vehicle. [0003] The invention aims to provide a motor vehicle front panel module composed of several distinct parts, to overcome one or more disadvantages of the prior art. To this end, the subject of the invention is an automobile vehicle front end module comprising a support part comprising: a first part comprising an upper cross member having a first reinforcement, a second part made of plastic material comprising lateral uprights and at least two portions configured for assembly with the first portion, the at least one portion having a second reinforcement. Thus, the assembly of the first part of the front-end module with the second part forms a strong connection, to ensure the holding of the fasteners during an impact of the vehicle. Said front-face module may further comprise one or more of the following features, taken separately or in combination: The at least two portions each comprise a second reinforcement. The second reinforcement is overmolded, improving the stiffness and strength of the plastic material of the portions. The upper cross member has at each of its lateral ends, an orifice passing through at least the first reinforcement, the at least one portion comprising a second reinforcement comprises an orifice passing through said second reinforcement, configured to cooperate with the orifice of the upper cross member so as to to receive a fixing means for assembling these two parts, thus forming a strong connection. The fixing means is mounted along a fastening axis A, perpendicular to the lateral uprights, so that its head is oriented towards the front of the vehicle. The fastening means is an insert with screws, helping to form the strong connection between the assembled parts. The portions of the second portion having the second reinforcement form lateral projections, the strong connection is in this case made between the upper crossbar and the side projections. The orifice is provided at the end of the lateral projections, which is adjacent to the upper end of the lateral uprights. The two lateral uprights integrate the portions of the second part comprising the second reinforcement, the strong connection is in this case made between the upper cross member and the lateral uprights. The second reinforcement has a length less than or equal to the length of the lateral uprights, its length is optimized so that the second reinforcement extends from one attachment to another attachment. [0004] The orifice is provided at the upper end of the lateral uprights. the second reinforcement is a material chosen from materials with high elastic resistance, stamped steel, or stamped aluminum, or composite sheet, giving the reinforcement resistance to significant stress. [0005] The second part comprising the two lateral uprights, interconnected by the lower rail, and the lateral projections, is made in one piece, which limits the number of fasteners needed to form the support part. [0006] Other features and advantages of the invention will emerge more clearly on reading the following description, given by way of illustrative and non-limiting example, and the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective front view of the front-panel module according to a first embodiment, FIG. 2 is a perspective front view of the front-panel module according to a second embodiment, FIG. 3 is a schematic view in side section of the assembly of the upper crossbar with the lateral uprights according to the second embodiment. In these figures, identical elements bear the same references. [0007] In the description, the terms "upper" and "lower" are defined with respect to the vertical direction oriented according to the height of a mounted vehicle. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the front-face module 1 comprises a support piece 3,5,7,9, represented in a simplified manner because it lacks the various elements such as radiators, cooling modules and other elements which make it are fixed when mounting the vehicle. The support piece 3,5,7,9 has two distinct parts. A first portion 11 which comprises the upper cross member 3. A second portion 13, of plastic material, comprising lateral uprights 7. The two lateral uprights 7 are vertical and substantially parallel to each other. They can be connected to each other by a lower cross member 5 at their lower end. The bottom rail 5 itself is substantially parallel to the upper rail 3. The two lateral uprights 7 may also include lateral projections 9. Said lateral projections 9 may serve in particular to fix the front face module 1 on a structural element of the vehicle. The lateral projections 9 are able to support at least partly the projectors (not shown). The front panel module 1 can also be fixed to the chassis of the vehicle by the lateral uprights 7 themselves. [0008] The upper cross member 3 has a first reinforcement 10 (visible in Figure 3). The first reinforcement 10 is overmolded by a plastic material according to a so-called hybrid structure. By hybrid structure is meant a material comprising two distinct materials, for example a metal molded with plastic material. The metal may be for example steel, or aluminum. This hybrid structure makes it possible to improve the rigidity and the mechanical strength of the plastic material. The first reinforcement 10 may also be a composite sheet. Said sheets are previously shaped by thermoforming and overmolded by a plastic material. [0009] The upper cross member 3 comprises a central housing 17 adapted to receive a lock bracket (not shown) of the hood of the motor vehicle. The upper cross member 3 also has at each of its lateral ends 21, 23 an orifice 25 passing through at least the first reinforcement. The opening of the orifice 25 is directed towards the front of the vehicle, and is configured to receive a fixing means 27 (visible in FIG. 3) making it possible to assemble the upper cross member 3 with the second part 13 of the part support 3,5,7,9 along an axis of attachment A, perpendicular to the lateral uprights 7. The second part 13 comprising the two lateral uprights 7, connected 20 to each other by the lower crossmember 5 and the lateral projections 9 may in particular be realized in one piece. This one-piece construction makes it possible to limit the number of fasteners required to form the support piece 3,5,7,9. The lateral uprights 7 and the lower cross member 5 have a front view of a general "U" shape. Lateral projections 9 can be likened to arms extending substantially horizontally and laterally. The second part 13 comprises at least two portions 15 configured for assembly with the first part 11. At least one portion 15 comprises a second reinforcement 12. The two portions 15 may also each comprise a second reinforcement 12 (visible in FIG. 3) . In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the portions 15 having the second reinforcement 12 form the lateral projections 9. The second reinforcement 12 is overmolded with plastic in order to form the portions 15, according to a so-called hybrid structure as described previously in FIG. About the first part there. Like the first reinforcement 10, the second reinforcement 12 may be metallic. The metallic material in which the second reinforcement 12 is made may for example be chosen from materials with high elastic strength, for example stamped steel or stamped aluminum, giving the second reinforcement 12 resistance to significant stress, around 500/600 MegaPascal ("MPa"). The second reinforcement 12 may also be made from a composite material such as a composite sheet. The second reinforcement 12 thus improves the rigidity and the mechanical strength of the plastic material of the portions 15. The lateral uprights 7 and the lower cross member 5 are when they are made solely of plastic. The at least one portion 15 comprising a second reinforcement 12 further comprises an orifice 33 passing through said second reinforcement 12, configured to cooperate with the orifice 25 of the upper cross member 3 in order to receive a fastening means 27 (visible in FIG. 3). allowing to assemble these two parts 1,5,3. The orifice 33 is formed at the end 29 of the lateral projections 9, which is adjacent to the upper end 31 of the lateral uprights 7. It is thus clear that the assembly made between the two portions 15 and the upper cross member 3 is made between two parts with a reinforcement. Thus, the assembly of the first part 11 of the front face module 1 with the second part 13 forms a strong connection. This strong connection makes it possible to guarantee the holding of the fasteners during a collision of the vehicle, thus avoiding the lifting of the hood of the vehicle. We will now describe a second embodiment of the invention which is shown in FIG. 2. In this embodiment, the front panel module 1 also has two distinct parts. A first portion 11 comprising the upper cross member 3, comprising a first reinforcement 10. A second portion 13, made in one piece, of plastic material, comprising the two lateral uprights 7, the lower cross member 5 and the side projections 9 In this mode realization, the two lateral uprights 7 integrate the 5 portions 15 of the second portion 13 each having a second reinforcement 12. The side projections 9 and the lower cross member 5 are when they made only plastic. In this embodiment, the assembly of the upper cross member 3 with the second portion 13 is made at the lateral uprights 7 so as to obtain a strong connection. The lateral uprights 7 thus each comprise at their upper end 31 an orifice 33, whose opening is directed towards the front of the vehicle. The second reinforcement 12 on which a plastic material is overmolded may in particular be visible on the face of the lateral uprights 7 directed towards the front of the vehicle and overmoulded at its ends by the plastic material forming the second part 13 as illustrated in FIG. second reinforcement 12 makes it possible to provide a mechanical resistance to the plastic material only in the areas subjected to stress during a crash of the vehicle. The second reinforcement 12 has dimensions similar to that of the lateral uprights 7 on which it is overmolded. Its thickness is limited to the necessary, for example the thickness of the second reinforcement 12 is fixed to give the plastic material side uprights 7 a sufficient breaking strength during an impact. For example, the thickness of the reinforcements is between 0, 8 and 2 mm. The presence of second reinforcement 12 causes a reduction in the forces experienced by the plastic material of the lateral uprights 7 during the impact. The length of the second reinforcement 12 is less than or equal to the length of the lateral uprights 7. The role of the second reinforcement 12 being to guarantee a strong connection between the assembled parts, its length can be optimized so that it extends only from one attachment to another attachment. Also, as can be seen in Figure 2, the length of the second reinforcement 12 does not extend over the entire length of the lateral uprights 7. Indeed, the length of the second reinforcement 12 extends from the attachment of the side uprights 7 with the upper cross member 3 to the attachment of the lateral uprights 7 with the vehicle frame. [0010] This limitation makes it possible to optimize the weight of the second part 13 with respect to the expected mechanical strength of this part. As can be seen in FIG. 3, the fastening means 27 used for the assembly is for example an insert with screw 35 or a bolt, or any other equivalent fastening means known to those skilled in the art, made of metallic material . The fixing means 27 is mounted horizontally along the fastening axis A so that its head 37 is oriented towards the front of the vehicle. Thus, during a frontal impact of the vehicle, the forces exerted on the fastening means 27 are oriented in the same direction as the clamping stresses contributing to maintain the fastening means 27 configured to assemble the first part 11 with the second part. 13 of the support piece 3,5,7,9. It is therefore understood that the assembly of the first and second parts of the support part of a motor vehicle front face module being made between two portions comprising a reinforcement forms a strong connection, guaranteeing the holding of the fasteners during an impact. of the vehicle.
